One of the first experiences a first year medical student faces is their Anatomy course and the joys and tribulations that come with that class. The human body is complex and sometimes learning about it can become overwhelming at times. The SOMA chapter at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCU-COM) found a great way to help their first year class prepare for their upcoming test. They teamed up with their local honors group to host a mock anatomy practical for the incoming first years. The event was a great success and almost 100 students came out to the event.
Way to go guys!
